2026 Legislative Priorities
- Maintain existing school start date law that prevents schools from starting more than 14 calendar days prior to the first Monday in September
- Seek passage to reduce the statute of limitations from 5 years to 2 years
- Seek blockage of DOR’s proposed sales tax on credit card fees
- Seek change on DOR’s ruling on Sales tax on camping
- Remain vigilant of all proposed legislation affecting members of MCFA

2025 has been a record year for MCFA. We are excited to announce the launch of our new Members Website, found online at: https://mcfamembers.org
The goal of this website is to bring MCFA online—to promote our association, attract new members, manage memberships, highlight our trade and road shows, and communicate more effectively with our community. Officially launched this November, we hope this site becomes a valuable resource and a welcome addition to your MCFA membership experience!
